Tours on Labor Day Weekend

For a fun-filled outing visit Schifferstadt on Saturday Sept. 3rd for a bit of history. Then continue your adventure to the beautiful historic district and check out the Dog Days of Summer sponsored by the Frederick Downtown Partnership http://www.downtownfrederick.org/en_us

Schifferstadt Museum is open for tours Saturday Sept. 3rd and Sunday Sept. 4th, 1pm - 4pm.

Landmarks is gearing up for Oktoberfest at Schifferstadt:

October 15th, 10am - 5pm, and Sunday October 16th, 12noon - 5pm.

German music, food and beverages, and historical demonstrations.

And... some of the finest hand-made crafts and art for sale.

Free admission, donations accepted.

Frederick County Landmarks Foundation (FCLF), is a private non-profit organization. It promotes the preservation of historic sites in Frederick County, Maryland, and strives to increase knowledge and appreciation of them.

FCLF owns and operates Schifferstadt Architectural Museum, which is its main landmark and location of the FCLF office. FCLF has additional historic properties: Beatty-Cramer House, and Zion Church and Cemetery. FCLF includes under its umbrella, the Frederick County Covered Bridge Preservation Society and the Frederick Sister Cities Association. FCLF also operates the Landmarks Historical Plaques Program.

FCLF is not part of Frederick County government. We sustain ourselves from proceeds by hosting events and through memberships and generous donations from people like you. We welcome event sponsors.
